GitHub Login Now Available in VersionTrack

We're excited to announce that VersionTrack now supports GitHub login! You can now sign in quickly and securely using your GitHub account to access your version tracking dashboard.

Why GitHub Login?

Many of our users are developers who already use GitHub for their projects. With GitHub OAuth integration, you can now skip the password creation process and sign in with a single click using your existing GitHub account.

How It Works

• Click the "Sign in with GitHub" button on the login page
• Authorize VersionTrack to access your GitHub account (we only need basic profile information)
• You're instantly logged in and ready to track your app versions

Security First

We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication, which means we never see or store your GitHub password. GitHub handles the authentication securely, and we only receive the basic profile information needed to create your account.

This is just the beginning of our GitHub integration plans. We're exploring additional features like repository syncing and automated version detection based on your GitHub releases.
